Your Box Is Full.

Your Impact Is Ready.

Returning your NRF Charity Box is how your spare change becomes clean water, warm meals, and brighter futures. Choose how you would like to return it — by post, at a collection point, or through one of our volunteers — and we will send you a fresh box to start again.

Why Timely Returns Matter

Every Charity Box has potential

your spare change can help fund a child’s education, a family’s next meal, or clean water for a community.

Return your box within four months

of receiving it, or sooner if it is full.

Why four months?

Returning boxes regularly allows NRF to count, receipt, allocate and distribute donations efficiently.

The sooner you return your box

the sooner your donations can reach those who need them.

Receive a replacement box automatically

when you return yours, so your giving continues without interruption.

No minimum amount is required

even a partially filled box can make a difference.

If your box isn’t full after four months

return it anyway and keep the cycle of giving going.

What Happens When We Receive Your Box

We manage the logistics. You provide the space. Together, we save lives.

    Step 1

    Received and Logged

Your box is received at NRF’s office and logged against your box reference number. We record the date of receipt and the return method.

    Step 2

    Opened and Counted

Your box is opened in the presence of at least two NRF team members. The contents are carefully counted and the total is recorded. This dual-witness protocol ensures that every penny is accounted for and that the process is fully auditable.

    Step 3

    Receipted

A receipt will confirm your box details, counting date, total collected and witnesses. If you’ve declared Gift Aid, it will also show the additional 25% NRF can claim at no extra cost to you.

    Step 4

    Allocated

The funds are allocated where most needed across NRF’s programmes, with preferences honoured where possible. Your replacement box is dispatched within 5 working days or provided at drop-off/collection.
