Honest About Our Costs

"We believe transparency isn't just about sharing successes; it's about being accountable for every penny spent."
We do not claim a 100% donation policy. Here is why.
Running a charity well costs money. Reaching vulnerable communities in hard-to-access areas costs money. Hiring dedicated staff, including widows with orphaned children in our overseas offices, costs money.
For every £1 we receive, around 11p goes towards raising further funds, and around 9p goes towards admin and operations, meaning your donation is effectively multiplied. We believe you deserve honesty, not a marketing headline.

Beyond a Transaction:
A Matched Relationship
Sponsors are personally matched with a child. You receive their photograph, their story, and regular updates on their progress. You can send letters, messages, and gifts. We translate and personally deliver them. If you travel to their region, you may even visit them.
For the children, this connection is transformative. For sponsors, it is one of the most rewarding experiences of their lives.

We Keep You in the Loop
Your relationship with NRF does not end when you make a donation. It begins.
We communicate with our donors regularly through multiple channels, ensuring you always know how your support is being used and the difference it is making.
Partners,
Not Victims.
"We never portray the people we work with as helpless. They are mothers, students, entrepreneurs, and community leaders who, with the right support, transform their own futures."
Our programmes build independence, not dependence. Microloans so people start businesses. Vocational training so widows earn their own living. Water infrastructure so communities sustain themselves for decades. Education so children break the cycle of poverty permanently.
Choose a Charity That Respects Your Trust
You work hard for the money you donate. You deserve honesty about how it is spent, transparency about the results, and a commitment to treating every person with dignity.
That is who we are.
